Aevum Health & Physiotherapy is a registered NDIS provider in the Sutherland Shire, with accessible clinics in Kirrawee and Helensburgh. We give you the opportunity to get the care you need without having to worry about anything but feeling better and achieving your NDIS plan goals.

Because we're a multidisciplinary clinic, when you start with us you have an entire team around you — physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, dietetics and speech pathology — covering you from head to toe.

We offer a free discovery session so you can come in, look around, and meet the experts who will be responsible for your care. You'll discuss treatment options without committing to us as your provider — taking the time to make the right decision for you.

We're located on the ground floor with extensive accessible parking directly at the main entrance to the rear of the building. The car park is accessed via Bath Road or directly off the Princes Highway.

If it's more convenient, we can plan to meet you at the entrance — our care starts as soon as you decide to work with us.

The Motek C-Mill VR is one of the cornerstones of our NDIS physiotherapy work. It enables patients to walk or run fully supported — we can reduce body weight to whatever level is needed.

This is exceptional for correcting gait patterns and strengthening the legs, and has proven excellent for post-stroke rehab, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury.

Looking for NDIS physio near you? We deliver sessions wherever works best: at our Kirrawee or Helensburgh clinics, in your home, or at school. Home and school visits cover the Sutherland Shire — including Sutherland, Kirrawee, Gymea, Miranda, Caringbah, Cronulla and Engadine — and the northern Illawarra around Helensburgh, subject to therapist availability.

You don’t have to choose one setting forever, either. Many participants mix clinic sessions — where equipment like the Motek C-Mill VR and AlterG lives — with home visits focused on real-world goals: stairs, transfers, getting out to the shops and around the neighbourhood.

Physiotherapy is most commonly funded from the Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living budget of an NDIS plan, with exercise physiology sometimes funded under Improved Health and Wellbeing. If your plan includes either of these, you can generally use it for therapy with us.

How billing works depends on how your plan is managed. If you’re self-managed, you pay the invoice and claim it back through the NDIS portal. If you’re plan-managed, we invoice your plan manager directly, so there’s nothing to pay on the day. And if your plan is NDIA-managed (agency-managed), you need a registered provider — which Aevum is — and we claim directly from the NDIA on your behalf.
